CoreMelt plugins for Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Express, After Effects and Motion

1. Eligibility:

CoreMelt Show Us Your Pixels Competition Supporting Rainforest Rescue (Contest) is eligible to entrants 18 years and older and is excluded where prohibited by law. No purchase is necessary to enter.
Employees or contractors of CoreMelt, all third party sponsors, and those involved in the development, production, implementation and distribution of this Contest and their advertising or promotion agencies, parent companies, service providers, agents, officers, subsidiaries or affiliates, or any other persons or entities directly associated with this Contest, including members of the immediate families and/or persons living in the same household as such persons, are ineligible to enter the Contest.

2. How to Enter:

All entries must be submitted directly through the CoreMelt website: (http://www.coremelt.com/showusyourpixels).
To enter you must send us original work made using at least one CoreMelt plugin. You must have the power to grant copyright rights over usage of the work and grant us the right to use the footage in our own promotion.
By submitting an entry you grant CoreMelt and Rainforest Rescue the rights to a worldwide irrevocable license to use your work to promote CoreMelt products on the Internet, in Print, at Tradeshows or in any other way.
You also grant Art Beats the same rights to use any clip which uses at least one of the clips they provide for use in the Rainforest Category.
Entrants may only submit one entry in each category which they qualify for.
If multiple entries in one category are submitted only the first entry will be considered and subsequent entries will be disqualified.

3. Prizes:

Only the winner of each prize may redeem the prize. Prize may not be sold, bartered, transferred, or exchanged. Winner will be responsible for any taxes, tariffs, or surcharges as required by law. Other conditions and restrictions may apply. Once a winner is determined, notified, and accepted, they will have 30 days to choose their collection from the CoreMelt royalty-free stock footage library. CoreMelt is not responsible for lost prizes and none will be replaced. Prize is nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by CoreMelt in the event that the prize cannot be awarded for any reason, in which case, CoreMelt, at its sole discretion, will award a prize of equal or greater value.

4. Drawing and Notification:

Winners of the Contest will be judged by CoreMelt representatives from Feb 9th-10th 2010. CoreMelt's Judgement of winning entrants is final and no correspondance will be entered into. Entrants chosen for the top five shortlist in each category must sign a copyright release form and provide a high resolution uncompressed version of the entry and a detailed list of which CoreMelt plugins were used, failure to provide this will result in that entry being removed from the shortlist and ineligible for the prize pool. The Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from the best 5 entrants in each category. Winners will be notified by email and/or phone. 5. General Conditions:

All Australian Commonwealth laws are applicable. All taxes (including, but not limited to, income taxes) are the sole responsibility of winners. Return of prize, prize notification, Affidavit/Release form as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. Entry and/or acceptance of prize(s) constitutes permission for CoreMelt and its affiliates to use the winner's name, address (city and state) and/or likeness for advertising and trade purposes without further compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known and hereafter devised, including without limitation on-line, unless prohibited by law. All entrants agree to comply with these Official Rules. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Contest and any person who does not comply with these Official Rules, will be ineligible for prizes and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. THE NSW COURTS (STATE AND FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY CONTROVERSIES REGARDING THE CONTEST AND THE NSW STATE LAW SHALL GOVERN THE CONTEST. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THOSE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMIT TO THE JURISDICTION OF THOSE COURTS, unless prohibited by law. CoreMelt reserves the right to suspend or cancel the Contest without notice to Contest entrants and is not responsible to select a winner on any given day in the event of technical or equipment failures. CoreMelt may disqualify or prohibit entrants from participating in the Contest for any reason at CoreMelts' discretion and without notice. CoreMelt may change these terms and conditions without notice at any time throughout the duration of the competition.

6. Disclaimers:

All Entrants agree that CoreMelt, its directors, employees, representatives and agents shall not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance/possession and/or use/misuse of prize(s), participation in Contest, or any technical malfunctions illegible or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. Entrants also agree that CoreMelt, its directors, employees, representatives and agents are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to an entrant or third person's computer related to or resulting from the Contest and its prizes. That CoreMelt, its directors, employees, representatives and agents are not liable for damage to a user's computer system in any way due to an entrant's participation in the Contest or downloading any information in connection with the Contest, including without limitation any server failure, lost, delayed or corrupted data or other malfunction. CoreMelt reserves the right to modify or cancel the Contest in the event that data is irrevocably lost concerning competition entries.
