Step 1: First Install Noise Industries FxFactory 2.0.2 (or higher)You must have installed FxFactory 2.0.2 or later to use PolyChrome transitions. You are not required to purchase FxFactory in order to use PolyChrome, but you must have their fxplug engine installed.
Step 2: Download the CoreMelt PolyChrome Installer Download PolyChrome Transitions 1.0 Installer
Please note that High Color Precision Rendering requires Mac OS X 10.5 (leopard) PolyChrome transitions are completely free to use for 14 days, after that you must purchase a license key to remove the water mark from all rendered effects. The PolyChrome installer includes four effects which are free and unlimited for all users regardless of whether you purchase or not.
Step 3: Quit Final Cut Pro and Motion, run the PolyChrome Installer after you have installed FxFactory 2.0.2After you restart Final Cut Pro and motion you will see the transitions show up under "Video Transitions" in various categories. Click on the PolyChrome banner to open the included documentation.
