CM Image Behaviors-> Optical Glow Across

These effects allow you to apply behavior style effects to still images.   These are particularly useful when you are given text for titles or a pack shot as an image file instead of being given the font and typing the text out.   In this case you cannot use standard text behaviors in motion but you can use these effects instead.

Runs an optical glow effect across an image using a selectable matte shape in time to a certain BPM (beats per minute) speed.

Unique Parameters:

Choose Mask

Choose the shape of the mask from a pop up menu.

Set BPM

Type in a Beats per minute number (BPM) which matches the tempo of music you want to animate to.

BPM Modifier

  Allows you to set the effect so it only happens every quarter beat or twice every beat.

Direction

  Direction of movement of the mask.

Angle

  Angle of rotation of the mask.

Blur Mask

Amount to blur the mask in pixels.

Mask Width

Scale the mask width.

Mask Height

Scale the mask height.

Invert Mask

Invert the mask.

Image Well

Drop an image in here to use your own image as the mask instead of the built in ones.   Then select 'Use image well' from the image mask pop up menu.

Glow Parameters

Set the width, brightness and channel offsets of the glow effect in the same way as the optical glow plugin.
