Introduction

The CoreMelt Editing Pack is a set of forty plugins to enhance the work flow of editors and cutters. All plugins render using the graphics card of your computer for fastest performance and using when using Leopard they can now render in high precision float color depth.

The plugins appear in Final Cut Pro, Motion or Final Cut Express in your Video Filters menu or Filters drop down under the "CM" prefix. Eg Blurs are found under "CM Blur". Likewise Generators appear in the Effects Library and start with "CM Generators".

Please note that this is a change in FxFactory 2.0, as previously the pack was named "Noise Industries Editing Pack" and all filters started with "NI". Some new filters in FxFactory 2.0 Pro Pack have the same name as CM filters. Eg if you wish to use the "Blur RGB" filter with the same parameters and behavior as in older versions of NI Editing Pack then you need to use "CM Blur->Blur RGB" and not "NI Blur->Blur RGB".

Many plugins have common parameters, eg the mask option is present in almost every plugin. You can read the pages on Mask Options and Other Shared Options for details of these parameters. Unique parameters are described on the page for each plugin or you can browse all plugins with thumbnails.

Also, don't forget to check out the CoreMelt Free Plugins webpage for the latest free plugins and register with CoreMelt if you want to be informed of new versions and new free plugins.
