CoreMelt Visual Effects

Designers of filthy fast effects for editors with better things to do. CoreMelt's mission is to design the fastest visual effects plugins possible, so creative editors like you can have a life away from the screen.

CoreMelt is run by Roger Bolton, a visual effects veteran with seven years experience in post production and whose list of feature film credits include "Lord of the Rings", "Kingdom of Heaven" and "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Roger has worked as a senior flame operator, lead compositor and online editor in Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, India, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Roger has been working with Noise Industries from their first beta versions and designed the 80 plugins that make up the FxFactory Motion and Editing packs as well as creating the Organoptics Fx pack for Avid AVX systems. CoreMelt was formed as the home of all his new FxPacks and other plugins.

Roger Bolton is also active in live video event production and content creation and performs live with the video installation group "Inside-Us-All" who were last year voted number 6 in the DJ Mag top 20 VJ Poll world wide.

In 2006, Roger completed a self funded audio visual performance together with the other members of Inside-Us-All that focused on the lives of Tibetan refugees in India. Funds raised by the perfomances are donated to Tibet Relief UK. In 2007 Roger will be completing an AV performance on issues surrounding global warming to be performed at the Green Peace stage at Glastonbury festival and other UK festivals.
